Tanzania is wonderful all year, but the best time to visit Tanzania is from July to September. That's when safaris, watching the Great Migration, trekking, and enjoying beach holidays in Zanzibar are at their peak. However, these months are also the busiest, so expect crowds and higher prices at hotels and parks. If you want a quieter experience and more personalized tours, consider going from late October to December, during the short rainy season. Depending on the preferences, some tourists prefer April and May because they anticipate having a more solitary or private tour experience and lower prices at hotels and parks. However, it's important to remember that visiting during April and May carries the risk of heavy rains, which can unexpectedly cancel activities
