Itinerary

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, our expert guide will receive you and provide you with an overview of the itinerary before proceeding to your pre-arranged accommodation. You can spend the rest of the day and night at the hotel, and if time permits, you may opt to explore the city of Kampala on a guided tour.

After a leisurely breakfast under the sunny sky, depart from the lodge and make your way to Kibale National Park, a stunning tropical rainforest in Africa renowned as the "primate capital of the world" with 13 primate species in a small area, including the famous chimpanzees. As you journey towards the park, you'll enjoy breathtaking views of the scenic landscape. Upon arrival, check in to your accommodations within the park and take time to unwind and relax.

Following breakfast in the early morning, you will drive to the office where you will receive instructions about the park and regulations for chimpanzee trekking. Then, you will embark on a trek in the forest to observe the chimpanzees. Visitors are permitted to interact with them for only one hour each day and are allowed to take photographs as long as they refrain from using flash. It is also important to maintain a safe distance and share any information about the animals. This is a unique chance to witness the chimpanzees' intelligence, learn about their social structure and behavior, as well as observe their tool usage for obtaining food and communication. This tour promises to be an unforgettable experience. After a delicious lunch and some relaxation time at the lodge, you will take a community walk that lasts approximately two hours. During this walk, you can interact with local people, exchange cultural knowledge, and purchase handmade crafts as souvenirs.

You will leave the lodge after having breakfast and checking out, and head to Queen Elizabeth National Park, which may take approximately four hours by car. During the journey, you will have the opportunity to admire picturesque views and capture some photographs. Once you arrive at the park at around lunchtime, you will check into the lodge, have lunch, and take some time to unwind. Afterward, you will embark on a brief game drive.

you will have an early morning breakfast before heading out for a game drive through the park where you will have the chance to see various wildlife. This is an optimal time to spot active predators like lions, leopards, and other animals on the hunt. The game drive will last around three hours, depending on your interests, before returning to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. Following a delectable lunch, you will embark on a short game drive enroute to Kazinga Channel. During this time, you will have an opportunity to observe different animals at rest or playing in the wild, such as monkeys grooming one another after feeding. Kazinga Channel connects Lake George and Lake Edward, and a boat ride at sunset is a rewarding experience as you can see a range of wild animals like hippos, water birds like kingfishers and cormorants, and crocodiles, both in the water and along the shores. After the boat ride, you will return to the lodge for an overnight stay and some relaxation.

On this day, after checking out of your lodge early in the morning, you will set off on a game drive to track tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector. These lions climb trees for various reasons such as to get a better view of their surroundings, to rest in the trees, or to cool down on hot days. Once you have spotted the lions, you will continue your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, taking in the scenic views along the way. You will stop for lunch during the drive to Bwindi NP. Bwindi is one of the oldest tropical rainforests in Uganda. Upon arrival, you will check into your lodge, where you will spend the night, have dinner, relax, and prepare for the next day.

After having breakfast, you will drive to the park headquarters with a packed lunch. Upon reaching the park reception, you will receive a briefing on the rules and regulations for gorilla trekking. Afterward, you will begin your journey into the jungle forest to track gorillas, accompanied by rangers. The time required for tracking varies between four to seven hours. Once you locate the gorillas, you will have a limited time of one hour to interact with them, take photos, and share information about them. This experience will provide you with an opportunity to learn more about these majestic creatures and create an unforgettable memory with the mountain gorillas.

After having breakfast early in the morning and checking out from your lodge, you will commence your journey to Kampala. On the way, you will pass through Lake Mburo NP, where you will have the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife such as buffaloes, zebras, impalas, oribis, warthogs, waterbucks, colorful bird species, and scenic views. During the journey, you will make a stopover at the Equator line to take photos and purchase souvenirs. Finally, you will continue your journey to Kampala and Entebbe airport, if your flight is scheduled for the same day.
