Frequently asked questions

Kenya welcomes visitors throughout the year, the prime months for wildlife enthusiasts fall during the Dry season, spanning from June to October. This period offers optimal wildlife viewing opportunities, with the renowned wildebeest migration arriving in the Masai Mara around July or August and remains until September, before making its way back to Tanzania's Serengeti National Park by October. Wildlife sightings remain impressive across the calendar, though conditions may vary depending on the park and the prevailing weather patterns. For those seeking a more intimate experience, the period between January and February, during a brief dry spell between rains, presents a fantastic opportunity. Some travelers even find charm in Kenya's rainy season, relishing the quieter atmosphere and potential for discounted rates at accommodations and park entry fees. However, it's essential to note that the rainy season carries the risk of heavy downpours, which could disrupt planned activities unexpectedly.
