This is a two-day tour designed to offer an immersive wildlife experience in Akagera National Park, Rwanda’s premier wildlife destination. The tour includes game drives, a sunrise boat cruise, and opportunities to see a variety of wildlife such as rhinos, hippos, elephants, lions, leopards, crocodiles, and water birds.
After breakfast, the driver guide will pick you up from your hotel early in the morning for the 3-hour drive to Akagera National Park. The journey offers beautiful scenic views along the way. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and then enjoy a full-day game drive with a packed lunch. This presents an excellent opportunity to see a variety of wildlife such as rhinos, hippos, elephants, lions, and leopards. Return to the hotel at 4:00 pm for a shower and some relaxation before embarking on a night game drive at 6:00 pm. After the night game drive, have dinner, relax, and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.
Following your breakfast at the hotel, you will embark on a brief game drive to catch a glimpse of some wild animals before proceeding to a sunrise boat ride to explore the wetland environment and aquatic wildlife such as crocodiles, hippos, elephants, water birds, among others. After lunch and checking out of the hotel, you will depart from Akagera National Park to Kigali.
