Itinerary

Arrive at Entebbe international airport; you are welcomed by our professional guide and briefed on the trip, and transfer to Jinja. Reach in the evening time; check in to the lodge for an overnight stay and relaxing.

Rewording: Enjoy a leisurely morning meal in the sun before embarking on a journey to explore the source of the Nile river. A guided boat ride will provide you with stunning views of the lake and its shores, as well as refreshing natural breezes. This adventure promises to be a memorable experience. Upon returning to the lodge for lunch, you'll have the option to either go horseback riding, biking, bungee jumping, kayaking, or simply relax at the lodge for the afternoon.

After having breakfast and checking out from your accommodation, start your journey towards Murchison Falls NP. As you travel, you will be able to appreciate the scenic views and capture some photographs. You will also visit Ziwa-Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking and have your lunch during the trip. Later, continue your journey to Murchison Falls NP, where you will be taken to the top of the waterfall to enjoy the spectacular views. Finally, you will arrive at the lodge in the evening, check-in and have a delicious dinner while you relax.

Indulge in a leisurely breakfast before embarking on a game drive. As you traverse the park, keep an eye out for an array of wildlife including antelopes, buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, leopards, lions, hippos, waterbucks, and more. This is a prime time to witness predators such as lions, the kings of the forest, and leopards as they hunt for their prey. After a delectable lunch at the lodge, embark on an afternoon boat cruise at the base of the waterfall. This cruise promises to offer stunning views of the banks and an opportunity to spot an assortment of wildlife such as antelopes, buffaloes, crocodiles, elephants, giraffes, leopards, lions, hippos, monkeys, waterbucks, and water birds. Once you've soaked in this incredible experience, you'll go on a 1.5-hour short hike from the base of the falls to the lodge with the guidance of an expert. Spend the night at the lodge, savor a delicious dinner, and unwind.

After a leisurely breakfast in the beautiful morning sunshine, check out from the lodge and head towards Kibale National Park. This park is renowned for being one of the most stunning rain tropical forests in Africa and is considered the world primate capital due to the presence of 13 primate species in a small area, with chimpanzees being the most popular. On the way to the park, enjoy a picturesque lunch and take in the breathtaking scenery. Once you arrive, check-in to the lodge for an overnight stay and some rest and relaxation.

Following an early breakfast, you will drive to the office where you will receive a briefing on the park and the rules and regulations for chimpanzee trekking. Afterward, you will embark on a chimpanzee trek through the forest. Visitors are allowed a limited time of one hour per day to interact with the chimpanzees. While taking photographs is permitted, the use of flash is prohibited. Additionally, it is important to maintain a safe distance from the chimpanzees and to share information about them. This experience offers a unique opportunity to witness the intelligence of these animals and to learn about their social behavior, social structure, use of tools for fetching food, and why they are often referred to as our cousins. This tour is guaranteed to create unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime.

After enjoying breakfast and checking out of your lodge, you will embark on a four-hour drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. On the way, you will have the opportunity to take in stunning views and capture memorable photos. Upon arrival, you will have lunch and some time to relax before embarking on a boat cruise at Kazinga Channel. This boat ride is a remarkable experience, offering a chance to witness the sunset over the water and view aquatic life such as hippos, water birds like kingfishers and cormorants, and crocodiles. Additionally, you may spot wild animals along the shores. Once the boat cruise is over, return to the lodge for an overnight stay and some well-deserved relaxation.

After a delightful breakfast with a picturesque sunrise, you will set out on a morning game drive through the park, providing an opportunity to spot various wildlife species, including active predators like lions and leopards. Following lunch and some relaxation time at the lodge, you will embark on another game drive, capturing views of wild animals during sunset. Upon returning to the lodge, you will have the option to participate in an evening game drive or simply stay at the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After enjoying a leisurely breakfast, embark on a morning game drive to track the tree-climbing lions in Ishasha sector. These lions climb trees for three reasons: to look far, to rest, and to cool down when it's too hot. Following a relaxing afternoon, you will embark on another game drive before returning to the lodge in the evening.

Morning once you are done with your breakfast, set out to Bwindi impenetrable NP. Reach the park in time for lunch, check in your lodge. Have lunch at the lodge and relax for preparing the next day.

After breakfast, drive to the park headquarters with packed lunch. At the reception, you will receive a briefing on the park's rules and regulations for gorilla trekking before embarking on the trip led by rangers. The trek through the jungle forest to track gorillas can take between 4 to 8 hours. Tourists are allowed only one hour to interact with the gorillas, take photos and share information about them. This offers a great opportunity to learn more about these gentle giants and create unforgettable experiences. After lunch and relaxation at the lodge, take a community walk lasting around 2 hours. This allows for interaction with the locals, participation in activities such as storytelling, traditional dancing, pottery making, cultural exchange, and purchasing handcrafted souvenirs.

To begin your day, have a satisfying breakfast and check out from your current lodging. Drive to Lake Mburo National Park and arrive around noon. Check-in to your new accommodations and enjoy lunch while relaxing. In the afternoon, take a boat ride on the lake where you can watch the sunset and spot various aquatic animals. After the ride, return to your lodging for the night.

Once you finish your breakfast and complete your checkout from the lodge, embark on your journey to Entebbe Airport for your departure. During the morning game drive, you'll get to see various animals such as buffaloes, zebras, impalas, oribis, warthogs, waterbucks, colorful bird species, and beautiful scenery. Make a stopover at the Equator line to take some pictures, purchase souvenirs, and have lunch on the way. Afterward, continue driving towards the airport to catch your flight.

Frequently asked questions

Uganda is wonderful all year, but the best time to visit Uganda is during its two dry seasons: between December and February, and between June and August, when conditions are particularly good for trekking to see mountain gorillas,  chimpanzees and wildlife safaris. However, these months are also the busiest, so expect crowds and higher prices at hotels and parks. If you want a quieter experience and more personalized tours, consider going from late March to May and September and November during the rainy season. Depending on their preferences, some tourists prefer the rainy season because they anticipate having a more solitary or private tour experience and lower prices at hotels and parks. However, it's important to remember that visiting during the rainy season carries the risk of heavy rains, which can unexpectedly cancel activities.
